Bishop’s Pumpkin Farm

Choo choo
Lama with an attitude she did not like the palettes just the veggies and she let you know it.

She’s an animal lover like me!

Found one of our pumpkins
Will I ever get a perfect picture of these two? This was the best out of like 20 haha.
We had a great time at the patch this year, it was definitely a lot better going during the week. A lot fewer people compared to last year when we went on a Sunday and the weather actually felt like fall this year. If you do go on the weekend they do have the piglet races, the kids thought that was pretty cool last year. I’m really enjoying Halloween this year both Jon and Juli are super into it.
Where’s your favorite pumpkin patch?

Until next time..

Sopapilla Cheesecake Squares

Sopapilla Cheesecake Squares, mexican dessert, fiesta dessert, cinnamon sugar dessert
I made these delicious squares for the fiesta we had. I wasn’t even going to take them out to the dessert table because I had left them a little bit too long in the oven. So they were a little burnt on the bottom. I Just cut them and put them on top of the counter. When I came back later that day to grab something, my brother in laws sister was telling me how good they were. I was like really you’re not just saying that because your starving, She said no they were super good then gave one to my niece, who also thought they were delicious. I grabbed one and said ok ill put them on the dessert table.
It did taste really good crunchy at first bite with the cinnamon sugar getting on your lips. Then so moist and buttery like when you bite more inside. They were gone in the blink of an eye. So I would say it was the perfect choice to make for the fiesta.

High School Reunion

I can’t believe it has been 10 years since I graduated high school. At the same time, high school seems like it was 100 years ago. I was a completely different person 10 years ago, I was wild and careless had a myspace and I think I had a little blog on I think it was called Xanga. I have no idea what I use to write about on Xanga probably overly dramatic posts about my life as a teenager.
The reunion was a lot of fun! When we first got there I did not remember a lot of people. I was racking my brain so hard trying to remember. Thank god I ran into an old friend that was in our group in H.S we use to be really close friends, but like with most of my friends I just lost contact and became busy with family and life so we just lost touch. I’m lucky to have the handful of friends I do have because it’s hard to keep in touch, especially after you have your own family and a full-time job.
As the night went along and the drinks were flowing faces started to become more familiar. As people started telling stories.I started to remember more and more people. We had a lot of fun I’m really glad we decided to go.
Have you guys had your first High School reunion?

Attention Busy Moms Have You tried imPress Nails?

I have been wanting to try imPress nails forever. They are so pretty! I chose the maroon color for this week. They have such a variety, come in a set of 24 and are supposed to be waterproof. Since I am a busy mom these seem perfect for a quick application no drying time and no mess.

 Start of with clean nails

I used the alcohol prep pad to wipe my nail right before I added a nail. It helps activate the nail glue. Simply peel backing of the nail and press.

For the charm, it comes with a circle adhesive and I just placed it with tweezers.

All done! I love them and the glue feels pretty secure.
So far I have had them on for 3 days still look good and I have been getting so many compliments. My thumb nail feels kind of loose, but it’s still on.
You can pick up a set at your local Walgreens for $7.99 or take a look at their website and get a peek at all the variety of nails that they have.  www.imPRESSmanicure.com

Weekend Snaps

Blogging hiatus over. I needed a little break and a week away from blogging was just what I needed.

Southside Park in Downtown. It’s Jon and Juli’s favorite park in Sacramento.

A late night storm was coming!
 Thunder Valley Casino

Our favorite late night eatery inside Capital Casino in Downtown. Julian and I use to stumble in here back in our younger days for some delicious Chinese food.  I accidently ordered the wrong curry though so that was a bummer. I usually order yellow curry chicken, and for some reason I ordered red coconut chicken curry. Which I really didn’t like it was too sweet.

What did you guys do over the weekend?
