Disney On Ice partners up with Great Clips for a Good Cause

     

In honor of Disney On Ice presents Dare to Dream arriving in Sacramento, featuring several favorite Disney Princesses including the flowing golden-haired, Rapunzel from “Tangled,” Disney On Ice is inviting the local community to participate in a heartwarming hair donation campaign to benefit Wigs for Kids, an organization that helps hundreds of children every year that are suffering from medically related hair loss.  Join us on Saturday October 17 at participating Great Clips salon locations (listed below) and donate your hair (at least 12″ long) at a special hair-raising event – in appreciation of the generous donation, the first 20 donors at each of the 10 participating Sacramento area Great Clips salons will receive two complimentary tickets to see Disney On Ice presents Dare to Dream at Sleep Train Arena.*

My 8-year-old niece recently donated her hair that she has never cut. She was so nervous and excited about it. She was happy she was doing it for a good cause.

Disney on Ice Worlds of Fantasy

Last night we went to the Disney on Ice Worlds of Fantasy show. We had so much fun!!!! It was awesome seeing how Juli’s face lid up when the show started. She screamed its MINNIE!!! Started jumping up and down, she was a super excited. We took my niece with us, she called me a couple times before the show to make sure we were still going. Isn’t her Elsa costume the cutest! When Juliana saw her she couldn’t help, but touch the costume. Jon really like the Cars part, the Toy story soldiers and the cotton candy and popcorn. He loves his treats.

My nieces favorite part was when the queen in Tinker Bell when she came flying out. She also liked all of the Little Mermaid part and sang along with all the songs. Juli also liked when the queen came out she said mom look it look it she called her a spider haha.

Juli ended up dressed as a fairy, a costume she already had in her costume box. She was wearing the wings all day at home, but as  soon as we got to the arena she did not want to put them back on. I thought maybe as soon as she saw the other kids in costume she might, but nope. Of course not until we were leaving the arena oh boy kids.

My favorite part of course still The little Mermaid. Its still as magical as it was when I was a little girl. I saw that they have Frozen on Ice now, ahhhhhh I can’t wait until that comes to town. Everyone was just about drained by the end of the show, so it was a very quiet ride home with everyone fast asleep. Jon did not want to roll out of bed this morning.

Only three more days until Disney On Ice Worlds of Fantasy we’re getting excited over here. Jon reminded this morning while I was dropping him off at school. I asked him what he was excited to see he said Cars and getting junk food from the concession stand. We also still have to surprise my niece and tell her she’s going with us tonight when she comes over for a bbq. She loves Tinker Bell, so we know she will be super happy.

Disney On Ice presents Worlds of Fantasy

When I was younger I don’t know how many times my mom took me to watch a Disney on ice show. We went all the time, they were so magical to me. I want to share that same magic with my little ones. 

Disney on ice is finally coming back to Sacramento October 22nd- October 26th. Jon has gone once before he was in complete awww, when he went to his first show. This will be Julie’s first time, and i’m happy she’ll get to watch The Little Mermaid, that was my favorite when I was a little girl.I hope we can go this weekend go find a costume to wear to the show.
