No Brush Makeup Challenge | Collab

Hello all, today I’m doing the No Brush Makeup Challenge. I think the hardest part of this challenge was trying to apply powder foundation. I tried applying a small amount, but it just got everywhere and didn’t look blended at all so I just skipped that step. The end result was a day time smokey eye with a glossy pink lip.

Diy Vanity Lights

💜 New video every Friday 

I am so obsessed with my vanity area! It helps me feel so inspired when its time to get ready. I’m sure you can find all the items at one place Walmart, Home Depot or Lowes. I just had some of these things lying around and that’s where I had bought them.

Materials 

-3 Light vanity bar x2 (Wal-Mart $10each)

-Philips 60 Watt Incandescent Globe Light Bulbs x2 (Home Depot $8 each) Buy clear globe light bulbs and avoid soft white light bulbs makes your skin appear yellow when applying makeup)

-Extension Cord x2 ($1 Dollar General)

-Scissors

First Ipsy bag

Side note: It’s finals week!! I’m so done with this semester, Hooray for winter break!!!!!! 

I’m a little late with lasts month’s Ipsy glam bag because when my mail man delivered it I was on my way out. So I just tossed it in the hall closet and I had forgotten all about it. 

What I got

• Smash Box Full Exposure Mascara

I have to say I loved this mascara. I can’t believe it took me this long to try it gave me length and volume to nearly non-existent lashes,

• Tres Stique Matte Lip Crayon in Chile Red

I liked this lip product also it goes on super smooth and drys almost like a lip stain.

• Der Me Lect Nail Polish in Commando

I only swatched this on one nail. It goes on very pigmented and drys fast, two coats and you should be good to go.

• Tucker Ashley Moisturizer

I have yet to try this, but it says it’s a unique oil-free moisturizer that contains ceramides and all natural water binding mechanisms for the skin. Improves skin barrier function and provides long lasting moisture reservoirs. Sounds good can’t wait to try.

• Beauti Basics Navy gel liner

This gel liner is pretty bad. The formula is not pigmented at all and very runny, even after I let in sit for a while and put another layer. It was still hard to work with and still smeared. The only product I was not satisfied at all with.

Pinky Rose Make Up Studio

I finally went to this local makeup studio in downtown Pinky Rose you can find them on Instagram @pinkyrose_4u. They sell a variety of makeup brands like LA Girl, Morphe, Gerard Cosmetics, City Colors and others. Makeup brands well known by the online makeup community. It was a very cute little boutique, I could have browsed forever!! Cannot wait to go back and get some more Morphe brushes.

These two e.l.f Studio blushes I did not buy there. I ordered them last night on Amazon and they arrived this morning. I’ve been wanting to try these, but every time I go to Target or Walmart they are sold out. Or maybe they don’t even sell them there, I’m not sure. I bought them both to use as a highlight love Pinktastic! This first picture somehow I got them reversed in the packaging the first one is Pinktastic and the second one is Rich rose.

All Glammed Up

This past weekend was my nieces quinceañera finally after 2 years of planning we had such a fun filled hectic day. Like always we were running late, the church was in the morning so I had just enough time to do a quick 5 minute face. Not pictured here of course. This was the make up I did for the reception. My hair loose curls using my Insta Wave wand parted and pulled half way back. Did that make any sense. This lipstick I have been obsessed with this past week, I had it somewhere in my make up stash its the perfect frosted pink.
