Thrift Store Challenge

Today’s video is a collab video with some other YT moms. We had to create an outfit that was either on clearance or thrifted. It had be $20 or under total, it had to include one accessory a bag, scarf etc. I chose a bag. This challenge was so much fun, I hope you guys like the outfit I put together.

3 Fall Outfit Ideas 1 pair of INC Booties #Macystrendboxfw15

I can’t tell you how happy I am that it finally feels like fall. It even rained the day before yesterday and the temperature has been dropping to 50 degrees at night. You know what that means I can finally bust out the boots and start layering up. I really like the layered look it makes an outfit look so put together. 

I am pretty excited to be collaborating with Macy’s through Lifestyle Bloggers Collective and give you guys some idea’s on what to wear this fall. When I was in my high school days we would usually end up in Downtown Plaza on Friday’s and one of the first stores we would go to was Macy’s for their big selection and good sales on quality clothes. And of course, the cosmetics. We can’t forget about the days of endless swatching the new lines.

For this collab I thought I would style 3 different outfits to go with these very comfortable Black INC Wedge Booties. 

First Outfit this is actually a dress I layered it with a thin sweater and some tights. I added the mustard colored scarf for a little pop of color.

Second, outfit is a loose fitting long sleeve tee with black denim skinny jeans layered with blue denim buttoned top.

This last outfit I would have never thought to put together until I was mixing and matching clothes in my closet to see what goes together. I even forgot I had these olive pants. I paired them with a gray tee and a blue jean jacket.

Casual Sequins

One of my favorite go-to outfits is throwing on a loose top, roll up pants and flats or sandals. Less than five minutes to change and I’m out the door.  Most mornings when I take Jon to school that is what you will find me in. Like I have probably mentioned before, I do not leave the house in my comfy sweats. I have a fear that for some reason I may have to get down at Jons school or what if I get a flat tire and have to get out of the car and there I am in my old comfy sweats. I have had nightmares of this.

This top from Kohls, I always get so many compliments when I wear it. When people ask me where I got it and I tell them, they always say the same thing, they can  never find anything when they go to Kohls. They are not alone being at Kohls kind of overwhelms me, not as much as forever 21, but pretty close. On the Plus side looking through all the racks you can find some pretty good deals like this top I bought it for $12.

My Tiny Dancer

Hi! Today’s outfit, you’ve might have seen this skirt before on the blog, during the summer. Today’s outfit shoot I don’t know what got into Juli she was just dancing all around me. Making it difficult to not burst into laughter. She was being super silly 🙂

I’m so excited tomorrow is my #pampersfirst viewing party. I’m going to be on my way shortly to buy the food I need to prepare. Then clean up and organize the house (even though it will only be last about 10 minutes) and lastly decorate. It will be nice to catch up with old friends and talk about our adventures in mommyhood.

Stripes and Strappy Heels

Hello, hope you guys are enjoying your Friday evening! we’re getting ready for date night. We’re going out to dinner and then going to go watch 50 shades of Grey movie. I’m so excited to see how it turned out!! I want to go to that new movie theater that they opened in Rocklin Studio Movie Grill, but it might be too late by the time Julian comes home from work. Have you guys been to that place yet? Today was a beautiful warm day out, so I wore this striped dress with my favorite strappy heels.

Forgotten Boots

Hi! Todays outfit I paired with these boots that I probably bought almost two years ago at Forever 21. This is the first time that I wear them. Ok this is what happened every summer I put my winter clothes and boots in boxes, so they are out of our closet. Somehow I ended up putting these boots in a random box and completely forgot about them, until we moved and I was going through all our boxes. Surprise these forgotten boots were inside!

Pretty in Lace

Hope you guys are enjoying your lovely Saturday. This lace dress I got as a Christmas present last year from Julian. I wore it this last weekend to Juliana’s birthday. I think its just super pretty and feminine, and it helps that its flattering to all this weight i’ve been gaining.  I need to get myself together and get back on track again.

I bought this E-book it’s called 4 weeks to fit and gives you a grocery list and  full meal plans for four weeks and an extra three weeks. Im starting it next week along with regular exercise. See if that helps me get back on track. Its been so hard especially since I stopped working. Even though the kids do keep me busy, its just been so hard for me to find a routine and find some balance. I think i’m going to video vlog when I start, on my Youtube channel.
