My Weight Loss Journey Begins

Today I share with you guys something different. About starting my weight loss journey, this is the biggest I have ever been and I don’t know how I let it get this way and I have to make a change to better my health. I think documenting this will really help with keeping me accountable. I also know there are other people like me going through this same struggle. I plan on making a video a week just to update you guys on this very hard journey. I decided to join DietBet just as an extra push because I saw that it has helped a lot of other people.

Until next time…

County Fair Fun

The Sacramento County Fair rolled into town over the weekend. We haven’t been to any fair I think since Jon was about 5 years old. We went Saturday evening, since getting out the door early Saturday was impossible and it was about 100 degrees in the afternoon. We had a lot of fun! I like walking around the fair, meanwhile the kids wanted to run straight for the games and rides. Jon loves the thrill from the rides, my niece who also went with us not so much. She doesn’t like the way your stomach feels likes its in your mouth from going up high than low. Jon did convince her to go on one scary ride though, the one where you get into the cages and spin round and round. Since I am on a weight loss journey I stayed very far away from the food, but it boy did it smell soooo yummy. As you can imagine they had fried everything.  It was the perfect way to spend a Saturday evening.

Juliana Turns 4

Today our little sassy princess turns 4. We celebrated this past Sunday with some of our family and close friends. We had a princess theme party that was going to be very simple a table cloth some party hats that’s it. Than I hopped on Pinterest’s and my simple ideas went out the window. You can find my board (here) of some of the ideas I went with.

We had a minor mishap when we were braking the pinata, seems like the stick had a stick inside so when our 9 year old went to hit the pinata it flew out and was inches away from breaking a bedroom window. Thank god no one was near!

Juliana had an amazing time and was going on and on all week about her birthday. Let’s just say she was a little excited about it.

Until next time
